During festivals or some special occasions I prefer recipes which can be made in advance especially sweets because at last moment there are lot many things that requires your attention like Puja items, Mandir Decoration and your mind is cluttered with so many things, in that chaos there is high probability of any recipe going for a toss. If sweets are ready one day before, than on the day of festival you just have to open the container and serve.
This Coconut Laddoo recipe is the simplest recipe of any sweet I have ever tried, no roasting, no boiling just mix and bind the laddoos. I made these laddoos for Ganesh Chaturthi and now I have made them again for Navratri, nothing can beat a platter of delicious homemade sweets that you share with your loved ones and watch your family devour them in no time!
Though this recipe is quite a simple one with only 3 ingredients but still be very specific with the measurements of the ingredients otherwise laddoos will be like chewing gum and also make sure everything is at room temperature before making laddoos if not then bring out of fridge at least 30 minutes before making laddoos especially condensed milk. Freshly grated coconut can also be used for this recipe though I have used the readymade unsweetened packaged one because I am so lazy to grate coconut.
I store these laddoos at room temperature because in fridge after a day they become little hard but it depends on the temperature of your place because at Bangalore temperature laddoos are usually not spoilt at room temperature even after 2 -3 days.
